Would you like to work with us?

We run regular training courses, as there is an ongoing need for volunteers.  Following the courses, visitors have regular supervision and training days.

    Our next training course will be from October to December 2010

    Topics covered by the course include -

Listening effectively

Valuing, respecting and working with different aspects of grieving

Recognising and managing your own reactions to your client

Managing the visiting process, including  beginnings and endings

Understanding factors influencing the bereavement process

Knowing about other people who can help
